Cooksey, Robert Fred

Son of Gladys & Joe Cooksey. Husband of Florence. Father of Nancy, Norma Jean & Mary. Born and raised in Waukeenah, went to school in Waukeenah and Monticello. Served in the Army during the Korean War. He farmed with his father “Joe” until his death. In fact, Robert farmed ever since he came home from the Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and talking, (maybe not in that order), as well as his family. He could always be found at the local store at daylight to get the news and start the day off right!!
