Parents are Verona Hightower and Lovell Buzbee. Born in Waukeenah, FL at home place on US 27. Graduated from Jefferson County High School. Retired from Centel Telephone Company. Loved hunting and fishing. Survived by daughters, Tracette Buzbee and Tamara Buckhalter. Granddaughters, Audrey and Lindsey, 5 great grandchilldren. Has brother, Robert Kennon Buzbee, Sr. and sister, Karen Buzbee Walker.

L.Tracey Buzbee WOODVILLE – L. Tracey Buzbee, 65, who retired after 38 years of service as a supervisor for Centel-Sprint Telephone Co., died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, in Tallahassee. He is survived by his wife, Marie Smith Buzbee. The service will be at 2 p.m. EST Saturday at Woodville United Methodist Church, with burial at Woodville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EST today at the church. Harvey-Young Funeral Home in Crawfordville (850- 926-3333) is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308, or Woodville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 687, Woodville, FL 32362. He was born in Waukeenah and was a resident of Woodville for 25 years. He was a member of the Woodville United Methodist Church. He was a heart-transplant survivor for more than 10 years and was an avid fisherman. Other survivors include three daughters, Tracette Buzbee of Tallahassee, Tamara Buckhaulter (and husband Keith) of Bainbridge, Ga., and Lucy Smith of St. Petersburg; a brother, Kennon Buzbee of Monticello; a sister, Karen Buzbee Walker of Monticello; three granddaughters, Audrey Runnells, Lindsey Buckhaulter and Rebbca Buckhaulter, all of Bainbridge, Ga.; two grandsons, Travis Smith of Woodville and David Smith of St. Petersburg; and two great-grandchildren, Patrick Smith and Patricia Smith, both of Woodville.
