Daughter of Dr. W. B. & Lena Wooten Carter. Sister to Elizabeth, Virginia, Ethleen, and Fate Carter. Lived in Home place on hill just east of the crossroads in Waukeenah, FL. Was well known for her “Fig Preserves” which she sold from her home on the hill side of US 27 in Waukeenah, FL. Crippled with Arthritis. She lived most of her life in the home place in Waukeenah and then moved to Camellia Gardens in Thomasville, Ga. Her sisters and nieces were very dedicated to her.
